Hello, The kiosk is using Windows XP with all service packs and updates installed. The problem is not consistant. It occurs about one time out of every 25 people who use the kiosk. It is strange, because we are using the "deepfreeze" software, so the configuration of the computer is exactl...

Hello, In an effort to try and find this problem, we completely reformatted the disk drive, re-installed Windows, and then reinstalled the kiosk timer software. The problem exists even after that. (Yes, we installed the software using the same "admin" user that is set to auto-login for the...

- When the guests finished using the computer, can it be configured so the windows will restart? I use this auto-reboot function for our internet kiosk, however we have found that it is a little buggy. Sometimes the timer "freezes" with 0 seconds remaining, and the customer is able to con...

Can you add an option to your software then, so that we can specify the place where that file is going to be saved. This because i'm using deepfreeze to protect the partition where windows and weavefuture is installed. I am also useing deepfreeze for my kiosk, and it works great. The only "pro...

This is a great idea! I was actually thinking about this the other day, because we are using a "convertor" plug to change the north american adapter plug into the French style plug... but it keeps falling out of the socket. My only concern was that I did not know the amperage of the comput...

OK... it looks like the new .exe file did not fix the problem. However, I have done more research into the problem and I think perhaps I *might* have more information. I was able to reproduce the problem only one time. (I tried about 50 times.) I entered money into the coin machine to start the time...

...you can unzip it and replace the old WeavefutureKiosktimer.exe file. I am having some trouble replacing the old WeavefutureKiosktimer.exe file. When I try to copy the new file, it gives me an error that says, "File in use -- can not copy". Is there a trick to copy this file over top of...

Thanks! I will put this onto the kiosk computer today and then monitor it.

Hopefully this will fix it... if not, then I'll post again and we can go from there.

I'm just curious -- what might be causing this problem? (ie: What fix does this new .exe file include?)

Cheers!

The operating system is Windows XP. Do you want me to send you a registry file with the configuration settings? (ie: Export of the WeaveFuture registery key?) Deep frozen is explained here: http://www.faronics.com/html/deepfreeze.asp Yes, the problem still occurs even without the deep freeze software.

This has now happened another 3 or 4 times. It is a real problem. Can you please tell me if you are going to fix this bug? One thing I noticed is that it might be related to the window expanding size when the timer hits the 20 second mark. (ie: The feature that flashes the timer bigger/smaller to br...

Timer stops at 1 second remaining, and stays there forever..

Hello, We've seen this happen about 5 or 6 times now. Basically, what happens is that we notice there is a customer who has been using the kiosk computer for a long time. This is very unusual, since most customers only use it for 1/2 hour or an hour, etc... it is too expensive to use it for more the...

Ability to change text in "reset timer" popup?

Also, it would be nice to be able to change the text that is displayed in the popup dialogue box when the "reset timer" button is pushed. It is confusing to our customers right now, because they don't understand the English... so I want to simplify what it says. Perhaps you can set this te...
