The automatic log-on works perfectly. It is the log-off that does not work.

:( I can no longer use the keyboard...

This is bad. The kiosk software will no longer unlock the keyboard. After I deposit coins, the screen is unlocked and I can use the mouse... but the keyboard is not working. If I change user to Admin ("switch user in Windows"), I am able to use the keyboard for all programs EXCEPT the kios...

Auto-logoff is not working..

I have enabled the Kiosk setting to auto-logoff the current user, and then automatically log back in. THis is not working. When the timer expires, the "splash screen" appears (deposit coins to start).. but: 1) The timer window is visible. (Even though there is 00:00:00 time.) 2) The user i...

Display "FAIL" popup message when logged in as Gue

I have just changed the kiosk software settings so that it uses the Auto-login feature with the GUEST windows user. When the computer starts and loads the Kiosk software, it displays a "FAIL" popup message in the middle of the screen. There is an "OK" button, which closes the box...

Good idea. Is it possible to "re-order" the programs that are listed?

ie:

"Move up" Move down, etc..

So that we do not have to re-type everything over if we add a new game and want all the games to be together in the list.

OK, thanks. Perhaps an idea might be to sell different features and "addons" to the basic Kiosk software for additional money. For example.. the basic kiosk software works and everything is good. But if you want to enable the "advanced" features (like ability to enabled/disable s...

Hello, Yes, the sound works. The problem is that our internet kiosk does not have any speakers connected. :) There are headphones, but usually the customer does not wear them if they are just surfing the internet or working on a document, etc.. In this situation, it would be good to "notify&quo...

Hello,

Yes, I think your suggestion is the best solution. We are going to create our own flash display for this area so that we can customize it as needed.

Thanks!

OK, this is no problem. Do you know of a simple way to make a flash file?

(We just need to have basic text...)

(Or perhaps do you have a recommendation to a program that is simple and easy to use to create flash files?)

Thanks. This is perfect!

(BTW - speaking of screws -- the coin acceptor arrives with only three screws for the front attachement. Since the screws have special square part, I am not able to find a replacement.. so hopefully three screws is enough. It looks a little funny, but should be ok?)

Suggestion to "fix" the hanging chip part of the A

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to attach the little "hanging" part of the AK5 coin collector... It attaches to the main coin collector part with a few wires, but I am concerned that it hangs down and over time the wait of the attached serial cable and power cable will pull out the...

Also, don't forget that all functions should be re-enabled if user selects "Administrator" and enters correct password.

(See my other suggestion for information about that new feature.)

Disable "right-click" for desktop?

Is it possible to disable the "right click" for user on the desktop and the taskbar so that they can not access the "Display Properties" or "properties" dialogue window popups? Otherwise, they are able to change screen resolution, background image, and "unlock"...

Hide specific disk drives instead of ALL

In the Kiosk configuration settings area, there is a setting called "Hide All Disk Drivers". Is it possible to block access to only specific disk drives, instead of all of them? For example, we would like to allow our customer to use the "media card reader" for the computer, so t...
