AH5 Setup Example

Example
1 quarter is 15 mins, 1 loonie is 60 min, 2 toonie is 120 min

terminologies:
Sensitive Switch------It has 3 position "MGN", "NOM", "MAX"
Setting Switch--------It has 2 position "START", "SET"
Adjust Button---------It is button close to coin acceptors 2 digital LED display.


Please make the "NO"/"NC" switch is on "NO" position



Step A: Clear all the previews settings of coin data.
• Turn the Sensitive switch to the “NOM” position
• Turn the setting switch to the “SET” position to enter the programming mode, the LED will display “00”.
• Press and hold the Adjust Setting Switch for 5 seconds or more until hear a “Beep” sound. The LED will display “C”, to indicate that the previous coin value was cleared.
• Turn the setting switch to the “START” position to exit the programming mode.

Step B: Clear all the previews settings of minimum start value multiplier
• Turn the Sensitive switch to the “MGN” position
• Turn the Setting Switch to the “SET” position to enter the programming mode, the LED will display previous setting, for example “1” or "4"
• Press and hold the Adjust Setting Switch for 5 seconds until hear a “Beep” sound and LED will display “1” , to indicate that the previous minimum start value multiplier reset to 1.
• Turn the setting switch to the “START” position to exit programming mode


Step C: Reprogram the coins

• Prepare up to 10 Canadian Quarters, 10 Loonies, and 10 Toonies sample coins. Make sure select sample coins as different as possible. for example different years, different usage status( new and old), different version, etc.
• Turn the Sensitive switch to NOM
• Turn the Setting Switch to SET going to Programming mode, LED will show “00”
• Press Adjust Setting Switch once, the display will show “01”, drop the quarters in sequence, when drop the 10th quarter, LED will show “F” means the setting is done. Drop less than 10 sample coins is OK. The laser version of coin acceptor may has more than 10 sample coins and up to 20 sample coins, so the LED will show “F” until 20th quarter or more sample coins.
• Press Adjust Setting Switch 3 times until LED show “04”, drop the 10 Loonies in sequence, when drop the 10th quarter, LED will show “F” means the setting is done.
• Press Adjust Setting Switch 4 times until LED show “08”, drop the 10 Toonies in sequence, when drop the 10th quarter, the LED will show “F” means the setting is done.
• Turn the Sensitive switch to MGN
• Press Adjust Setting Switch 3 times until LED show “4”
• Turn Setting Switch to START, then coin acceptor is ready to use.
• When drop 4 quarter, it will output one pulse signal, drop 1 Loony it will output 1 pulse signal, drop 1 Toony it will output 2 pulse signal.
• the minimum start is $1

Step D: Set up the Timer Control Board.

The Timer Control Board takes a pulse signal from the Coin/Bill Accepter and converts the pulse to a time on the timer (minutes per pulse).
There are 4 buttons on the board Setting1, Setting2, Setting3, Setting4.
There are 2 input in the board Input1 is for coin acceptor and input2 is for bill acceptor


• Press the Timer Setting Button 1 until the LED displays "1-xx", it is how many minutes per pulse from board for coin acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "1-00"
• Press the Timer Setting Button 1, until the LED displays "2-xx", it is how many minutes per pulse from board for bill acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "2-00"
• Press the Timer Setting Button 1 until the LED displays "3-xx", it is how many seconds per pulse from board for coin acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "3-00"
• Press the Timer Setting Button 1, until the LED displays "4-xx", it is how many seconds per pulse from board for bill acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "4-00"
• Press the Timer Setting Button 1 until the LED displays "5-xx", it is how many hours per pulse from board for coin acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "4-01" which is 1 hour or 60 minutes per pulse.
• Press the Timer Setting Button 1, until the LED displays "4-xx", it is how many seconds per pulse from board for bill acceptor
• Press the Timer Setting Button 2, until it change to "6-00"
• press the Timer Setting Button3 can save the changed time setting. the LED display "00:00"
